I feel like such an idiot. Today I was browsing some vintage artists and basic 'how to' in regards to their method and I stumbled upon watercolor wash's. For the past 9 or so years I thought a 'WASH' was flooding the paper with water and then quckly adding color... haha! However I found out that the method I was using is called "wet on wet" and the actual wash creates the effect I have been seeking in watercolor! :P Now I'm not as confused! haha!
