Just completed this lovely piece. Watercolor, with Colored Pencil outlines on 140lb watercolor paper.
I had a nice surprise after I scanned it... I had to do very little tweaking to get the colors as close to the original as possible. This is the FIRST time I've ever scanned and felt this satisfied.
This was a commission for a relative (Lizzy). I probably spent more effort than they were expecting, but the narrative was fun, and I also used it as an excuse to produce a portfolio piece. ^_^ haha!
I also kept track of my process and will be posting it with an explanation soon.
