Wow, another week has passed by and here I am AGAIN posting another image.
This week I once again explored many new/different realms/approaches in order to come up with this finished piece. I'm tired though....sigh...zzzzz I hope everyone enjoyszzzzz.....
Wow, your work is wonderful! Glad that you stopped by so that I can see your work! What a treat.
ReplyDeleteAs for the watercolors..you are SO kind. I am still a student of watercolor, that's for sure. I use Winsor and Newton..the cake kind and also I've recently been trying to add some gouache (tube)...which I'm happy with...it's such a work in progress. I actually don't know what masking solution is, so I haven't worked with that...I'll have to check it out. I'd love to hear your technique too! Keep up the great work!
Hey, thanks for the reply! I appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that watercolors, in general, bring out alot of crisp colors, which are so lively and whimsical...and much like a little kid, I am drawn to them. But they are so difficult and often disobediant. I have the unfortunate desire that often pushes me to try and over-control them...So I am always working towards a greater understanding and mastery of them. :P haha! You mentioned Gouache, well they are much more managable.
Perhaps my greatest weakness is I can't settle down on one particular medium and I just keep bouncing around...sigh. If I stuck with a particular medium I might actually accomplish something!!!
Everyone starts out small! Most of us don't start out by writing long symphonies, shore up the load and get in for the long haul.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, this one reminds me of a DS game that I played a while ago called Big Bang Mini. Cool.
